Multimedia support like MP3, avi, 3gp , DVD Video Playback are not available in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx) . Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx) cannot included other multimedia software due to patent, copyright, or license restrictions, such as Adobe Flash Player and RealNetworks RealPlayer. If you want to play a Multimedia file like MP3 in ubuntu 10.04 , read the following Fist You have to add the medibuntu repository

Previously some there was some problem for remastering Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic koala). Karmic Koala is using Grub 2, remastersys is designed for grub 1. Now Remastersys is redesigned for ubuntu 9.10 with grub 2 and it is working. you need Remastersys version 2.0.13-1 or higher. All other options are just like previous versions. see here

You can block websites using squid proxy with 3 easy steps. First you have to create a text file with blocked domain name list such as orkut.com, gmail.com, sex.com, yahoo.com and so on. Second define and Access Control List (ACL). Third and final step Restart Squid.
First, create a file called /etc/squid/blocked.domains.acl (any file name you can use) # cd /etc/squid # vi blocked.domains.acl
